i want you to be a man

Millions of earthlings reincarnated into a magical world to save it from its prophesied doom. However, one reincarnation failed—an anomaly born in error or by design. Thrust into a rotting house in a ghostly body, Adam found himself bound to a wailing baby: the body he should have reincarnated into. Two cruel choices were given to him: suffer as a ghost while searching for an impossible alternative, or murder the boy he would raise to claim the life that was promised. Guided only by a snarky system that warns of his damaged soul, he began his years-long quest to recover his body. But solitude tightens around his heart, and madness slithers at the edges of his mind, ready to engulf him whole. He was far from imagining how dangerous this world full of possibilities could be. Soon, he would question everything he knew—including his own sanity, his memories, and the very hands that blurred this world's history. And if someone was behind it all… was the prophecy itself a lie? This world... So there are others, where Qi rules instead of mana and forgotten legacies of cultivators lie for those who have the skills to grab them. ********************************************** Discord server: https://discord.gg/ubzzKM5wfp Note: The MC is not a supporting character or hidden master. It's his story, motivated by his choices and battles, not the baby's. Please don't fall for prejudices like 'I know where this is going,' because spoiler: you definitely don't. ********************************************** What you can expect: -A living world with its own lore. -Each character has their own motivations and desires. -Moral grey story. -An MC who grows and learns little by little. (Keep in mind the memory thing) -A long but epic quest. -Badass female chars later in the story. -Cultivation and magic that makes sense.
