The idea behind this story is intresting mixing Skyrim with Mistborn powers is a really cool concept. and is somewhat of a fun read. But the way the characters in Skyrim react to the protagonist’s abilities feels off. Skyrim is a world where magic and strange powers are pretty normal, but the reactions here seem like they belong in a low fantasy world where magic barely exists. Instead of the superstition, awe, or curiosity you’d expect from Skyrim’s characters, their responses feel out of place. The suspicion shown doesn’t feel like the typical superstition of the Nords it’s more like the kind of fear and disbelief you’d find in a world like Game of Thrones. It’s as if they barely even know magic or unusual abilities exist, which doesn’t fit the setting of Skyrim at all.
