In a nightmarish vision, Chiaro Crepuscule watches as everything he loves is torn apart—angelic and demonic beings ravage his world for reasons he isn’t even deemed worthy to know. Blood stains the shattered remnants of what was once a peaceful home, now a war-torn wasteland. Amid the chaos, Chiaro faces a twisted reflection of himself—an opposite who tasks him with one command: survive. Survive for those who perished. Moments later, the world shatters, and he wakes under a moonlit sky in an unfamiliar grassland. But something is wrong. Chiaro has no memory of who he is, no powers, no past—nothing but his name. Stranded in this strange new reality, he’s thrown into the heart of a kingdom’s turmoil. Verdara, a kingdom of modernity woven with wood and ancient customs, becomes the battleground of his survival. Rebels rise in search of a ruler. Ministers, lieges, and royal siblings clash in a web of political tension, while something far more sinister brews in the shadows. With no clear path, Chiaro is forced into their games—caught between power, rebellion, and secrets he doesn’t even remember. But as he moves deeper into this world, something within him stirs—a voice, a feeling, an instinct to survive at all costs. Though he has nothing, Chiaro clings to the hope that surviving is all he needs to do—because somewhere within this fractured reality lies the truth of who he really is. As the threads of his forgotten past begin to unravel, Chiaro realizes that this kingdom may hold the answers to his dreams—or the key to a nightmare far worse than he could ever imagine. But can he survive long enough to uncover the truth? Or will the darkness close in before he learns what really happened in the aftermath of his shattered world?
To be honest, I liked the first half of the story better than the current one, like I just don't like it's current plot and direction. In my humble opinion it should've ended with Twilight Song's death and with her death causing new generation of legends to rise up or perhaps her causing a butterfly effect on certain events to have a different aftermath, like perhaps Tachyon finding a new and safer way to achieve new boundaries in speed by using Twilight Song as a example, instead of breaking her body in the process, though I don't really how that would work but that's just me.
