surviving the war

The main idea is great. Surviving in chaotic world and a system that gives the basic tools for that purpose. I would start with The walking dead, then World war Z, then game of thrones , Resident evil, and maybe as last 40k

A good, decent fanfic to read in the evening. The story unfolds quite interestingly. The romance is quite well-written, as are the possible consequences for the characters after surviving the war. Overall, I recommend reading it, though it's a shame it's so short.

Really enjoying reading the story as the mc navigates through the war and makes surviving it his main goal. The ruthlessness he applies to himself and his teammate is a nice addition though some act are quite "dark". I like how he progressively gains power both literally and politically.

For the first 15 or so chapters this looked pretty promising, but somewhere around chapter 20 I can’t help but feel that the MC’s brain cells all died at the same time. Like he went from tactically surviving in a war zone to somehow chasing monkeys through the woods with grenades…

I learned from another shameless author to do this. The story follows a 150 year old robot named D-45 surviving in a post-nuclear apocalypse. Conflicts between human and robots are common in this time period due to the war that happened 145 years ago, D-45 having a key role for the war that happened, but he went into hiding more than 100 years ago, now with both humans and robots hunting D-45 down for good or bad our robotic has to find a way to keep living in the waking world.
