I really want to like this story the writing is solid comedy is good but the character development is just off. The problem is the author's Logic on how kidnapping is related to romantic relationships is complete BS. It's so irrational that he loves her so much has the kidnapper to express his feelings and then gets her shot. Even if she didnt get shot was he expecting the mc to bow down to her kidnapper and thank him for presenting a better life and live hapily ever after? No a normal person would be pissed being taken agaisnt their wil,but the authot so far uses it twice. I don't know if the author was going for some sort of twisted Beauty and the Beast or has some perveresed dream of kidnapping bdsm.
