It's not a grab all power, stronger to stronger, badassery story that internationally makes the MC seems cool when curb stomping fodders. No, he actually didn't become powerful right away. It stays true to one of its tags, weak to strong. The MC isn't power hungry maniac that grows stronger every single chapter. He actually spends quality time with his friends... ehem and harem members quite a lot. Unlike typical power fantasy that a lot of its characters are ignored or set aside most of the time.
