I enjoyed it. The novel is fun. It integrates popular internet culture in to the novel. Unfortunately, it falls a little when story focused more on the disciples building religion instead their interaction with the mc. And it falls down when the mc lost all of his power, and author introduces anime into the story. The story lost its cultivation comedy charm when the anime takes over instead of cultivation. It doesn't help that the op mc became a powerless character and how the anime arc keeps dragging, surpassing any other arc. I think it's a fun novel until the anime arc. I think it might be good again after the anime arc finished and mc regained his power. Overall, it's a fun story in the beginning but falls down after the mc lost his power and started to focus towards anime/weeb culture instead of cultivation.
