Honestly, it’s decent. It’s not that bad. But you really gotta get past the fact that this dude never stops talking during fights. Like, bro, are you throwing hands or hosting a damn seminar? Every time a fight starts, it turns into a full-on speech. There’s action, yeah, but it’s buried under walls of dialogue like we signed up for a lecture series. He has so many chances to kill somebody and just doesn’t do it. He talks. And talks. And talks. Like damn, we get it—you got morals and trauma or whatever, but shut up and finish the job. He’s had multiple chances to kill Dan—multiple—and the man’s still walking around like this ain’t a war story. Just kill him already. And then when it comes to Hiruzen, the Third Hokage—don’t even get me started. This nigga had the perfect chance to take him out too. But instead, here comes the sympathy crew like, “Oh but remember what Hiruzen did for the village.” Nah bro, what he did was let Hisashi die. Let’s not act like he’s some noble hero. Man really let the Kumo Alliance take Hisashi’s life just to keep some fake-ass peace. That wasn’t leadership—that was straight up cowardice. Dude was a selfish bastard hiding behind politics. Always doing what made him look good instead of what was actually right. But the story keeps trying to gaslight us like, “Oh, he tried his best,” or “He was under pressure.” Nah. Miss me with that. So yeah, it’s a 3.7 out of 7 for me. If you can get through all the fake-deep talking and moral gymnastics, it’s okay. But damn—this story really be trapping us in monologue hell while pretending like people didn’t die because some old head wanted to save face.
