Taming the Beast King’s Heart is only 15 chapters in and it has already stolen my heart. The main character, Nyx, is a tragic heroine with a very promising character arc for herself and as a symbol of humanity and its ability to rise to the occasion in the face of terrible odds versus submitting to defeat when the odds seem insurmountable. On the surface, the writing is engaging and straightforward, but a subtle theme is emerging that begs the question: Who is the actual beast in this story. If the momentum continues, this could be a standout read.

Everything is fine, but give some backbone to Malakai — every time something happens, he starts going “Nyx, Nyx, Nyx, Nyx.” I know you’ll say the enemy’s power level is much higher than the MC’s, so he needs her support, but what’s the point of always making the attacker a higher-realm being? That way, he’ll always need help just to survive. It’s become repetitive. It would be fine if that clan’s Pulse attacked occasionally, but not for 300 chapters straight where that Pulse is directly or indirectly attacking, and in most cases, he ends up shouting “Nyx, Nyx.”

Amazingly scuffed. Author had a good idea but the dialogue between two different people feels like the same person. There was no obvious shift in demeanor or attitude. A primordial goddess like Nyx does not bow to the whims of mortal even if such a mortal has ties with the Greek Pantheon. Whitestair_Ivory said it best. I just randomly clicked this webnovel when I caught up to the one I'm reading at that time. I'm happy that I read this because of how amazing the different themes in this story blends really well. I really enjoy reading this and now near the latest chapter 2 weeks after I start reading. SPOILER!!! I think Thanatos is the name of the god who once killed Raizel in the deathlands and the primordial goddess is Nyx

I'm really curious will they all really reject her and will she really become a monster. I really want to see a scene were her parents show up again and nyx is already broken and her mother tells her to control her anger. Nyx tells her mother she already past anger cause she now broken than nyx burns everything around her and the people who treat her like a monster than nyx starts hunting high ranking vampires,witches,werewolves,and humans and people have to stop her before she burns the world down.
