Arifin Rensa Korlin is the Solaren, a being born with the potential to become the most powerful entity in the Sola Galaxy. But long before he could understand what that meant, the galaxy learned to fear him. Laws were written to restrict his influence, limit his power, and ensure he would never become another catastrophe. At sixteen years old, Arifin is caught between reverence and suspicion. To some, he is a saviour. To others, a political asset, a weapon, or a threat waiting to awaken. Unsure of what the galaxy expects from him, and even less certain of what he expects from himself, Arifin must step beyond the life he has always known and confront a world already shaped by fear of his name.
