Smart writing. What makes this story sing, though, is the relationship between Axis and Primarch Leman Russ. Russ adopting Axis as his son? Inspired. They’re cut from the same cloth—warriors to the bone, reckless, proud, hungry (literally), and loyal. Their chemistry practically writes itself. Russ is the only Primarch who could pull this off and not make it feel forced. As long as the author keeps Axis’s battle power consistent with the Dragon Ball Z scale—no sudden nerfs, no lazy boosts—this fanfic has the potential to be one of the greats. Just don’t mess it up, author. You’ve struck gold in a sea of grey. Honor it.
