Nabasa ko na iyong buong SRC series way back college days ko at may ilang naipon akong books sa bahay. minsan nagbabasa at inuulit ko pa rin sila. one of the timeless novel series talaga ang SRC. ito iyong kasa-kasama ko sa pagtahak sa college days ko. kung paanong inuuna ko silang basahin bago ang pagaaral para sa exams. hahaha. nakapasa naman po ako. thankfully. I can still remember those days na talagang nagkikeep ako ng pambili ng pocketbooks galing sa baon ko. tapos itatago ko ng bongga ang mga books at baka makita ni mudra sa bahay alamin kung san galing pinambili ko. pero iba pa rin yung moment na nasa kamay ko na ang libro. priceless. happiness is real. 😍 may kopya ako nong book and it's mine. hindi ko kailanging hiramin sa iba. hindi ko kailangang maghintay ng time ko. hehe. thank you for making stories that many of us really enjoys reading and inspires us into writing our own. dahil din po kasi sa mga nobela ninyo naiinspire akong makapagsulat din. 😍 more power! more story to write!

Hi there, I just came across Journey of a Million Years: Terror in the North, and this story immediately caught my attention. I love how it opens with such a stark, unsettling hook. David walking calmly through a rain soaked battlefield just wanting tea, only to casually execute a man threatening a woman and then ask her, without blinking, "Can you wear a bomb?" That cold, unreadable menace mixed with quiet humanity sets such a haunting tone for who this character really is. The contrast between David's brutal, detached present and his devastating past gives the story a lot of visual and emotional potential. A five year old boy dragging survivors from a massacred village, feeding them, scaring off crows with gunfire, refusing to believe his own mother was gone until her body began to smell. I'd love to create a character illustration or cinematic scene capturing young David clutching survivors under moonlight in the ruins of Babbar Kasa, the adult Captain David dropping from the treetops in full tactical gear with his grappling hook cable catching the light mid swing, or the haunting moment Nurse Titi ties his belt while war planes and chaos loom behind them at the Golden Eagle Nest. There's a great mix of war trauma, found family, and quiet monstrous resolve to draw from. I do manga style commission art, and stories with hardened soldiers shaped by tragedy, morally gray protagonists, and war torn worldbuilding are exactly the kind of stories I love bringing to life through illustration.
