The Ordinary Gospel of Isabella Jenkins

A high-concept YA crossover novel (70,000 words) that reads like The Good Place meets The Diary of a Wimpy Kid: a heartfelt cosmic comedy about a stressed teen blogger, a frustrated Messiah, and the sacred struggle of being ordinary. Seventeen-year-old Isabella Jenkins’s five-year plan is simple: survive her Black and Latina family’s financial stress, ace her Stanford application, and maintain her cynic’s reputation through her incisive high school blog, The Human Codex. It does not include being recruited by heaven. But when conflicting, viral hashtags like #HustleCultureJesus and #AlphaJesus—born from the complete lack of documentation about Christ’s teenage years—begin to corrupt the celestial machinery of compassion (the “Empathic Resonance Grid”), a celestial bureaucrat named Miguel appears. His mission: Operation Second Draft. His demand: Isabella must become the official scribe for a limited, observational re-incarnation. Jesus is back. He’s sixteen. His name is Joshua “J.” Joseph, and he’s starting at her high school on Monday. Isabella’s assignment is to document everything—the acne, the algebra, the awkwardness—to create a definitive “Ordinary Gospel” and recalibrate a world losing touch with what divine humanity actually looks like. But J.’s divine constraints are shaky; his profound empathy leaks out as “efficient kindness,” sparking a school-wide movement. This attracts two dangerous kinds of believers: Pastor Chad, a tech-bro megachurch leader who wants to brand J. as the face of his “#EfficientGrace” sermon series, and Father Dominic, a rigid theologian who sees J.’s influence as a dangerous, modern heresy. As Isabella fights to buffer J. from these threats using satire, scholarship, and sheer stubbornness, she finds him forming a tender, human connection with Lena, a quiet library aide—an anchor that makes his mission matter, but also threatens to emotionally overload his fragile divine vessel. With the celestial “extraction window” set to close at the peak of the Starfall Semi-Formal dance, Isabella must shepherd J. through a minefield of live-streams, doctrinal interrogations, and his own overwhelming heart. If she fails, the gym doesn’t just risk a bad prom; it risks a “Pentecostal Prom”—a localized, chaotic outbreak of unintended miracles. The Ordinary Gospel of Isabella Jenkins is a funny, poignant, and deeply original novel about the stories we tell to understand the divine, the quiet courage of being kind, and the transformative power of paying attention. It’s for anyone who has ever wondered about the missing years, struggled to be seen for who they truly are, or believed that the most sacred thing we can do is show up, imperfectly, for each other.

Cousin Richard is seen to be alive and well in this film, as he evades death countless times. Although this time, things are different. Cousin Richard's death in 'Father, cousin Richard survived' after the first crusade was shown to be long-lasting. His body remained in place for a long amount of time. This directly contrasts Richard's death in this short film. But what does this mean? Well there are two conclusions that could be drawn here. Either Cousin Richard is powering up, in an attempt to overthrow Father. Or the darker, and worse conclusion - the one I personally believe: Son was holding back on Cousin Richard. This unfortunate conclusion has more than enough proof to be a reasonable suspicion. In 'Son, have you been simping recently?' Son is seen telling Father that Cousin Richard has survived, through discord DMs. However, directly contrasting this, Son acts as if he does not know that Cousin Richard was alive in 'Father, cousin Richard survived'. But what does this mean? It could be that Son's heretic mind is protecting Cousin Richard. [22:16] Another piece of evidence for Son's heresy is the quote 'Maybe they're onto something' after reading the heresy brought to him by Cousin Richard. This piece of foreshadowing occurs after Father has disappeared from a distance where he could hear Son. This dramatic line tells a chilling narrative: it shows Son's descent into heresy and madness. Cousin Richard's influence over Son will always be there. Cousin Richard has been allowed to live by Son, as Son is a heretic at heart. This means that Cousin Richard is alive and well, and ready to take down Father. Perhaps he will overthrow father, and defeat the holy crusaders from the inside. This is all leading to an epic conclusion within the Bread Boys Cinematic Universe - I believe the final tale to be told will be Son's betrayal of Father, revealing himself to be the heretic who protected Cousin Richard. Father, being the hero he is, will need to convince Son to return from his evil ways, and become a holy crusader once more. Truly genius, Bread Boys. Genius.

After rebirth, she changed the world

Sheng Jiao, who had been brought home by her biological parents but had her superpower taken away by her adopted daughter and thrown out of the base, was reborn after dying under the siege of zombies. He was reborn in a parallel universe. At this time, Sheng Jiao had not been taken away by the Ye family. She had not been framed by her adopted daughter, bullied, humiliated, and died with grievances. After her rebirth, Sheng Jiao decided to kick away her cold and heartless family and focus on being her savior. In the 13th year of the apocalypse, humans discovered a strange livestream room. There were zombies running amok in this world, but the situation was much better than theirs. The singer of the benefit performance did not commit suicide because of his brother's death. Instead, he wrote a song that had a healing effect and resisted the attack of the zombie tide. The base that killed superpowered people did not become a malignant tumor. Instead, it was completely annihilated when it was still in its infancy. The doctor who was bitten by the patient did not die with his precious healing power. He worked diligently to treat the patient and developed an antidote to resist the zombie virus. A man with a special ability who should have died of a serious illness in the early days of the apocalypse miraculously came back to life. Even the research institute that was forced to stop its research received funding from kind-hearted people and ended the apocalypse. The humans in the apocalypse were in an uproar. They wanted to find a way to end the apocalypse like the people in that world. The higher-ups of the base were ashen. Only they knew that the person who had changed the world had long been thrown into the zombie pile by them. They had destroyed hope with their own hands, and they had also seen Sheng Jiao break free from the shackles of fate and shine in the parallel universe.
