Loving You Means Having You
Scarlett, a top-tier private tutor, is a beauty that turns heads wherever she goes. Not only is she drop-dead gorgeous, but she's also a double major Ph.D. graduate from a prestigious university. Despite her beauty, she's cold-hearted and only has two close friends she can truly rely on. One is a wealthy guy who had an early coming-out and harbors feelings for his senior. The other is a quirky girl who, despite having access to billions in assets, prefers to earn her own money through her startup, always pinching pennies.
Scarlett's life was supposed to be this serene, but everything changed when she met Lucius, the top dog of the city. To the public, he's an intimidating figure, cold and unapproachable. But behind closed doors, he's a different person.
[Excerpts]
Watching her retreating figure, Elijah teased, "Even you get the cold shoulder sometimes. Who's that, her boyfriend?"
Lucius countered, "Do you know what I admire most about her?"
Elijah gave a superficial answer, "Her beauty."
Lucius calmly stated, "Her intelligence."
Without waiting for Elijah's response, Lucius walked away.
Elijah, not being a fool, pondered the situation. Scarlett maintained a distance from both him and Lucius. Such a woman was indeed intriguing.

Hi! I just came across Unexpected Twist with the Billionaire, and I was immediately hooked by Arabella Vanderbilt’s introduction and the intense betrayal surrounding her. I especially loved the opening on the steamship, the storm, Arabella struggling in the freezing sea because she can’t swim, and the painful contrast of Oliver choosing to rescue Juliana while Arabella is left fighting for her own life. That scene instantly establishes how unfair her situation is. What really caught my attention, though, was Arabella herself. Even after nearly drowning and waking up weak in the hospital, she still carries this cold, proud, and resilient presence. Her confrontation with Juliana was especially interesting because Arabella clearly understands what is happening, yet she refuses to stoop to Juliana’s level. I also really liked the Old Madam’s perspective. She recognizes that Arabella isn't foolish, but simply too upright to imagine that someone could be so shameless and manipulative. I do manga style commission art, and I’d love to create artwork inspired by Unexpected Twist with the Billionaire, whether it’s a dramatic illustration of Arabella sinking beneath the stormy sea, a character piece capturing her cold and elegant personality, the confrontation between Arabella and Juliana beneath the gardenia trees, or a cinematic scene featuring Arabella and Oliver. Would love to hear your thoughts, and I’d be happy to share my portfolio if you’re interested! Discord: emmamaxwell0713 Instagram: mirabellebrushes
