[Reviewed on; 12-09-22] [Reading status: 14 chapters] [Reviewer: aysel inara] -*-*-*-*-*- REMARKS; - Title is catchy and i must say i loved the cover. - At first i wanted the names of characters in the synopsis but after reading the chapters i know now why it was kept a mystery. Nonetheless, the synopsis lacks a hook. - Chapter 1 was good enough considering the fl was supposed to marry someone else but she chose to share bed with Oswald. We don't see a 'non-white lotus' female lead often. So, 10 points here from my side. - The mystery about who is the groom is kept throughout. Somebody please tell me the name at least. At first i actually thought it would be Oswald with hidden identity, then my guess switched to Cole. Please, tell me the name. LOL. I have read 14 chaps just to find out ONE NAME. - I am not sure how i feel about the FL personality, i liked how she was crafted in the beginning. But the adoption of that little witch scene put me off, you don't poke your nose in other's matters like that. That too in another kingdom, where you are not favoured, it's equivalent to making so many enemies knowingly. - Elvis seems a good character but with a suspicious aura. There are too many people at once. I want to see more of Issac and the maid from FL homeland. However, i am still contemplating the words said by Issac 'he ruined my sister, i was there." Where was he? Was he talking about FL? - Too much mystery too hook you. - However, lastly, the narration went a bit itty bitty at times. It went too fast, too slow, too confusing. The scenes switched too fast at times. But i understand it's the first work which are mostly experimental, mine first 2 works too. - The idea, plot, cliffhangers, style is great. Just the execution needs to be a bit more clear and neat. I am sure it will be in next book.
