Kaito Phillips has always thought football was the dumbest sport in the world, tiring, sweaty, and pointless. Yet somehow, he finds himself standing on a pitch, out of breath, staring down a game he never wanted to play. How did it come to this? Between a stubborn father with a past of his own, a little brother who won’t stop teasing him, and a classmate with the world’s most ridiculous action-hero name, Kai’s quiet life keeps getting pulled toward the very game he hates. And the worst part? The more time he spends around it, the harder it becomes to look away. A lighthearted tale with sharp comedy, heartfelt family bonds, and an unexpected path toward something bigger....this is definitely your usual sports story. This is my first book, so critiques would be appreciated as long as they aren't too hurtful... Enjoy...
