This is a pretty good, hope the author updates more frequently. I just hope franceis doesn’t end up with ericka it would of been fine if she told him her problem so they can work on it together but she didn’t she kept on doing it behind his back. So far She makes really bad Ddecisions without thinking, for example what she did with MC father. if she would use her head she would find a real part time job.

Starting the book, I admit I was a bit nervous about its content. I've read through some of the reviews, especially a particularly critical one, and wasn't sure how to go into this book. I've read a lot of GL books before with a modern-day setting, that unfortunately, doesn't turn out that great. But, this book managed to exceed my expectations. The first few chapters, in my opinion, start a bit slow but begin to pick up speed as the storyline progresses. So far, so good! I found myself more invested in the story than I expected and became pretty darn satisfied as Andy and Ericka made strides in their relationship, and frustrated when the pair meet some obstacles along the way. There were a few things that peeve me, such as Ericka's jealousy and Andy ultimately folding into apologizing. (Ericka practically is swimming in vinegar.) The trust dynamic between the two concerned me a bit, but I suppose trust is something that develops with time. I'm not too keen on the lyrical aspect of the novel as they appear a bit sudden for me, but it's not that big of an issue that I would quit reading. After all, romance is something that you give to another, your expression of love.) If Andy and Erica's way of expressing love for each other is to sing, great! They're free to do as they please. (I know for one, I would be flattered if someone started to sing their love for me, lol) In conclusion, this novel is a pretty good GL with a modern setting. It has an exciting story dynamic, and if you're a romantic, this might be the novel for you. All in all, keep up the excellent work! There's already a lot of dropped GL books out there, so please do not become another one. So chin up and carry one. To quote Robert Frost: "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."

This novel is the type that ticks me off but yet I still can’t help but to turn to the next chapter. EPIC is one of the best stories on here imo. When the story first started, Vahn was my little cinnamon bun, I really felt for him and his past life. Ein did a great job showing that emotional scene 😭 I’m going to ignore the part where he was introduced to s*x way too soon and had kids way too soon. He didn’t get a chance to figure out who Vahn was before getting into serious and committed relationships. Which brings me to my current frustrations. Vahn said when he sleeps with his women it’s more emotional and he feels close to his girls. Aww, such a sweet cinnamon roll 🥰 Well, my sweet cinnamon roll has turned into a super ho. He’s not satisfied with the 20+chicks he has at home, now he’s out there picking up side pieces. Like, come on, nobody has a side piece for emotional connections 😒 this is the time the girls need to have a vahnatus and reel him in bc in a minute, he’s going to be sleeping with every exotic girl who shows an interest. Character growth is expected and awesome, but Vahn is on a slippery slope that could descend into deviant behavior. While EPIC has its slow moments, the scenes with his children are so precious that it soothes my frustrations and keeps me coming back like an addict. Ina and Erika are my favorites. I think Masonia(?) could be a favorite, but I need to read more about him to determine that. Please, more Hephaestus time. How is Hephaestus bae when he spends more time with Loki and the other girls than Vahn? In conclusion, even though the massive harem and Vahn’s increasingly lewd thoughts/behaviors can be frustrating, especially when he literally splits his soul in half bc he doesn’t have enough time to spend with his girls, children, training and forging. I would recommend reading this, if for nothing else than to see Vahn doting on his children and forcing them into cute animal jammies. Poor Ericka, RIP 🤣🤣🤣
