Sorry for my English. This is a very good story, exciting and interesting. The secondary characters are written with quality and are awesome. Their stories are truly breathtaking. The plot also keeps you in suspense, and even when the pace slows down, the author knows how to create a really interesting scene. But what I liked most was the protagonist—incredibly charismatic and attractive. A truly genuine and interesting character. Multidimensional, well-rounded, and alive. One of the best protagonists I've ever seen. Now for the flaws. The first chapter is essentially a prophecy, boring and uninteresting. The next two chapters are basically biographies, then another chapter with a boring description of the world-building and other unnecessary nonsense. In short, garbage that can be thrown out and nothing will change. The real beginning, where I fell in love with this work, is the protagonist's fight with his father. That's where the story started to show its true face. Cool. I also didn't like that the author describes the environment too much, sometimes twice, like the academy, the professor with her witch hat every time she appears. A separate kind of torture is the description of monsters during fights. This thing has already jumped at the protagonist, but then there's a description of how many teeth it has, how many rows, how big it is, what poison is dripping, etc. Usually, if I like a story, I don't skip a single line, but here I skipped entire paragraphs of these pointless descriptions. However, I still absolutely recommend reading this work.

Hu Xueyan and Zeng Guofan were very famous figures in Chinese history, and their biographies were widely circulated. The best version of these two characters might vary from person to person because everyone's reading preferences and needs were different. However, if you want to understand Zeng Guofan's biography, I can recommend the book "Zeng Guofan Biography." This book was written in the Qing Dynasty with an objective historical attitude and a solid foundation in writing. It vividly depicted Zeng Guofan's life experiences, changes in his thoughts, and military experiences. It showed a real and complex historical figure. In addition, this book also introduced Zeng Guofan's political, military, and cultural achievements and contributions. For Hu Xueyan's biography, I recommend Biography of Hu Qing. This book was written in the Qing Dynasty with a unique perspective and deep insight. It deeply analyzed Hu Xueyan's life experience, ideology, beliefs, and business wisdom. It told the story of a legendary business giant. This book also introduced Hu Xueyan's political, military, cultural and other achievements and contributions in a more comprehensive manner. It was very helpful to understand this historical figure. Of course, this is just my personal recommendation. You can choose the biography version that suits your interests and needs.
