Peace Order
The world had been in chaos for over three hundred years.
In the Central Plains, singing and dancing never ceased, foreign tribes sharpened their weapons and fed their horses, Sword Immortals roamed the Martial World, and famed generals quelled unrest in all directions.
Five years before the great upheaval, the young Pharmacist Li Guanyi committed murder on a rainy night.
At last, he opened his eyes and saw this chaotic human world.
Underneath the hooves of horses lay piles of bleached bones – famed generals, beauties, the Martial World, Divine Weapons, commoners, Dharma Forms.
Since ancient times, only white bones and yellow sand remained on the fields!
Confucian Scholars, crushed beneath iron hooves; Buddhas, swept away by long spears!
"I, Daoist Li Guanyi, invite this world to its death!"

Hi dear readers! Author here. This story was deeply inspired by a quote from Alexander Graham Bell: "When one door closes, another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones which open for us." Often times we are looking so far into the past that we forgot that the present brought much joy. The toxicity we endured, whether its our own family members or our past that consumed us are not worth keeping the relationship civil nor losing our sanity. Let's learn to accept that closing the door is fine. It's okay! If you enjoy the story thus far, I can assure you that the when you read them for the second time, you will find the story even more enlightening. There are little details and moments woven throughout the story that may carry a different meaning once you know how Edmund and Maisie's journey unfolds. With that, we've reached the end of Book 1 where we witnessed the progress between Maisie and Edmund's relationship, Maisie's healing and Edmund's unwavering patience, kindness and love. Should this series continue, Book 2 will delve much deeper into Edmund's past and the secrets that shaped him. Then, in Book 3, Maisie will finally uncover the truth about her own family and confront the past she's been running from. Until then, thank you!
