I like the story especially your portrayal of Remus. This is one of the best Harry Potter fanfiction that I have read, right up there with Rise of the Protector. I find the choice of the "gifts" that Max received when he reincarnated and how he has used them to survive and even thrive while facing what would have otherwise been certain death for any other wizard in his place to be quite interesting. I still think having Lupin shot in the head to be hilarious and completely agree with Max's description of him when he attends the Order meeting.

I actually found this fanfic really interesting. The MC ends up reincarnated as Harry Potter and tries to survive the Dursleys and the ‘System’. But man, he’s so immature — trusting anyone just because he read about them in the books. After everything Dumbledore has done to Harry — and will probably keep doing — he still doesn’t see the red flags. But the worst part? He puts his trust in Remus freaking Lupin. He even writes him a letter about Sirius’s trial, thinking Lupin would care — but nope. Like a loyal pet, Lupin just runs straight to Dumbledore and spills everything. And now the MC is seriously considering living with him?
