read upto chap 14 to write the review. Imo its better to make the mc go to sea around 1520 since this fanfic follows the path of luffy, its around 10years before the start of luffy's journey and almost everything is same as when luffy started like smoker in loguetown or boroque works already in whisky peak.

While this fic is good, it’s not really worth your time if you have something better to do. It’s basically just an MC who already knows all forms of Haki tagging along on Luffy’s journey and taking out the bosses Luffy was supposed to face. He meets Luffy after the Arlong fight and joins the crew; he holds off Smoker while they leave Loguetown, defeats Vivi and Mr. 9 at Twin Capes, beats Enel along the way, and saves Luffy by taking down Crocodile. It’s fun to watch, sure, but it’s just the MC acting as a sort of guardian who saves Luffy—there’s nothing new or original added by the author. I’m up to Chapter 50, and I find myself skipping through dialogue I’ve already seen in the original series. Like I said, it’s good, but just about anything else you could read or do would easily take precedence over this fic.
