A person must be firm, he/she must be like a tree and not be easily swayed by the winds. A god, especially of war and death more so. But the MC is like a blade of grass, swaying to whichever direction the winds (his women) blow.. He decides something, then we get one of his wives saying "No please" and he follows their wish or accomodates it when its stupid to do so. A god who is not firm in his decision is no god at all.
