sixty stories

In terms of finding the auspicious date of the sixty-year-old god, many factors needed to be considered. First of all, judging from the relationship between choosing a day and the zodiac, the auspicious day should not clash with one's zodiac. For example, if a rat and an ugly cow were to cross each other six times, people born in the year of the rat should carefully choose the day related to the cow. Secondly, there were different taboos for different Jiazi days. For example, on the auspicious day of Jiazi, it should be opened for business, earth-moving, trading, receiving money and other things, but should avoid marriage, burial, breaking ground, building and other things; On the day of Yichou, when the male life is the god of joy, he is in charge of documents, marriage, seeking wealth and other things, while the female life may be in charge of avoiding the god, which is not conducive to marriage and childbirth. On the day of Bingyin, marriage, partnership, trading, travel, school and other things are greatly favored, but construction, burial, breaking ground and other things are avoided. On the day of Dingmao, marriage, seeking wealth, trading, travel, school and other things are also greatly favored, and construction, burial, breaking ground and other things are avoided. Moreover, from the position of the sixty-year-old gods, if the gods on the earth set up an altar to fulfill their wishes and pray for their children, the gods would be blessed ten times over. The star of Jidu would be blessed in the sky, and it would be a sign of good fortune if it was blessed. On the day of Bingyin, if the gods were in heaven, if they asked for blessings to fulfill their wishes, offered sacrifices to mountains and rivers, and summoned souls to replace their lives, the public would suffer disasters, and it would be a great evil if they were blessed. On the day of Dingmao, Wuchen and Jisi, the gods in the underworld will receive ten times the blessing by writing a letter, praying for blessing, summoning souls to sacrifice, setting up an altar to pray for children, getting rid of hardship, etc., and do things with great luck and great profits. On the day of Gengwu and Xinwei, the gods are under the meat stone in heaven and in the underworld. If they pray for blessing, sacrifice, and return their wishes, they will suffer from illness, which is a great evil. On the day of Renshen, the gods go down to the underworld from heaven to pray for blessing, sacrifice, and write a letter to pray for children. They will receive ten times the blessing, which is good luck. Guiyou day is used to sacrifice to the river god Shui Bo, which is very auspicious, but it is dangerous to use it for other things to seek blessing. On the day of Jiaxu and Yihai, the gods are in heaven, not in the human world or in the underworld. If you seek blessing, the gods can descend and eliminate disasters. If the newlyweds wanted to hold a wedding ceremony or register their marriage in a certain month, they needed to avoid the Sanniang Day and the Fifth Day (the 13th day of the first month of the lunar calendar, the 9th day of February, the 7th day of July, etc.). They should also try to avoid completing the above matters in June and December of the lunar calendar every year. They could also go to the Wanke Old Yellow Calendar website in advance to check what was suitable for the day to make preparations, or confirm the taboo position according to the eight-character chart, thus effectively avoiding the evil star. The 'Sixty Stories' by Donald Barthelme are likely to be a rich collection. His stories are often filled with a sense of humor that is both dark and satirical. They can be seen as a commentary on society, culture, and the human condition. The summaries would probably highlight how he weaves together different themes like consumerism, alienation, and the search for meaning. He may use short, punchy paragraphs or even lists within his stories to create a distinct rhythm and to keep the reader off - balance, constantly challenging our assumptions about what a story should be.

It's a collection of short stories with a focus on themes related to wealth and human experiences.
