So, I read the first two chapters and I can already tell that this book will be interesting. Calla's and Davis's dynamic is so cute. From enemies in school, to arranged husband and wife and eventually potential lovers is an amazing dynamic. My favorite chapter so far is the second one because of how it ended with the teasing from Davis and the response from Calla. I can't wait to read more

Hi! I just came across Calla Mentire: Arc of the Grand Conquest of the Sola Galaxy Book 1, and I was immediately drawn in by the way the story combines grand scale galactic warfare with the more personal side of leadership. Calla's position as a princess, warrior, and future figure of authority gives the story a really compelling balance between political responsibility and the pressure to become a powerful fighter. What especially caught my attention was Calla's interaction with the war veterans and her determination to give them more than empty words, establishing a hospital, veterans' fund, and mentorship program while still trying to pursue peace with the Abraxen delegation. I also really liked the contrast between her public responsibilities and her private training, especially the scene where she studies Maki Hanala's combat footage and works on controlling her presence under pressure. Those moments make Calla feel like someone actively growing into the role she's destined for rather than simply being handed power. I do manga style commission art, and stories with this kind of expansive fantasy and sci fi worldbuilding, powerful warriors, political tension, and character driven moments are exactly the kind of projects I love drawing. I'd love to create artwork for Calla Mentire, whether it's Calla addressing the veterans, training alongside Sezpa and Trak, or a more cinematic piece showing her surrounded by the vast scale of the Sola Galaxy.
