The Earth is divided into two realms: the Outworlds and the Mundane. This dichotomy has existed for centuries, with the Outworlds holding the majority of the planet's magical and supernatural power.
The Outworlds are a collection of hidden dimensions, realms, and planes of existence that coexist with the Mundane. They are home to a diverse array of supernatural entities, including:
- The Fae: ancient, magical beings with a deep connection to nature
- The Shadeborn: mysterious, shadowy entities with the ability to manipulate darkness
- The Luminari: powerful, angelic beings who wield the power of light
- The Wraiths: restless spirits of the dead, seeking justice or revenge
The Outworlds are governed by the Council of the Arcane, a group of powerful mages who maintain the balance of power between the different supernatural factions. However, the Council is notoriously reclusive, and their motives are often shrouded in mystery.
In contrast, the Mundane is the everyday world, devoid of magic and supernatural phenomena. It is home to ordinary humans.
