How about you trying light novel? dxd version anime ruin a lot of characters, especially Issei's characters hard to the point that reduce him into fanservice machine and fanfics even worse than anime, they are pretty much making Issei into Oc in order to used him as step stone for their own pet characters to shine, tragically enough, wiki is most accurate source of information that most similar to light novel version.

it was really amazing and had a unique path when compared with other stories where Issei was betrayed. The crossovers to different anime worlds was totally cool

Good story so far but remember it is about your mc, not Issei. I hate It when fanfic mc's suck the main cast di*ks and hold their hands while they fu*ck the girls. Plus even though DxD is a fun anime, Issei as an mc is quite pathetic.
