i am just gonna be honest here this whole side character Mallory keeps infurating me if i would be in the position in the mc even with his mental disposition: she created the joker not like bruce who did it because he was new at it no she just plainly ignored his orders and did because it was fun so she pretty much deserved to die at that point if not for the fact that she stole one of his promised powers (Still not liking this part) well otherwise this story is a great as it can be not too overpowered mc and still providing a funny story with much growth potential so go ahead but please let mallory die for his character growth that ***** deserves nothing more

I've only read up to Chapter 20, but I enjoy the childish way Mallory acts and the "switch" that happens when she becomes "mature". It's a little fast paced, but the characters are well designed and the story excellently developed. Overall, the only fault I find is that the author needs to update more often 😄

This kind of story is mixing influences from Scooby doo and spiderwick chronicles, and surely from other young adult horror stories. It's refreshing, and you can't help but get dragged into the events by the characters. Dialogues are lively and well-written, even though some description could be added for each scene. The pacing is perfect, and there's always that kind of frightening, doubtful, and unnerving atmosphere kept at each chapter. I vividly recommend it!
