The novel is currently promising and doesn't seem traditional. The characters appear multi-dimensional, and I love that being focused on individually. The world seems deep now and appears to contain unique power systems that are different from the usual. Boris seems interesting and strange, but this makes me curious, and the novel follows the mystery genre excellently so far. I will follow one or two more chapters to decide if it deserves regular following. But it definitely deserves a chance.

This one is my favorite in this series. Of all the anti-heroes, this one is least … concerning? To put it delicately, if you have a troublesome (hopefully past) relationship these books are not for the faint of heart. I think that is why I like Boris the best because he has awareness of his actions. These characters are better developed with more depth than others. I enjoy how the characters are interwoven through each story. I also like how some chapters are presented out of order.
