Finally, a fanfic dedicated to Arthur! I'm very happy about it, and it has elements of Mistborn. This is so peak, nothing more to say.

Ive read countless novels but Lord of Mysteries is still number one for me. Currently reading Mistborn, let's see if that changes my mind. Im thinking of re-reading Lord of Mysteries because I forgot so much of it and I will read book 2 afterwards

This novel delivers all the xianxia tropes, underestimated MC, young masters and so on, if it's your thing, rejoice. I used to like, but after 3 novels, it gets tough and repetitive. Seriously, I'm hoping to find a xianxia novel with a ground breaking system - I'm not talking about system novels - where the development doesn't sound like a bunch of nonsense or emptv words. I'm saying this after (re)reading the Mistborn series, where alomancy is such a ingenious magic system.

I absolutely loved this! I just wish there was more to read 😫 The characters are compelling, and I love the Mistborn series, so the setting immediately had me interested. If/when the rpg campaign is over, or just if enough has happened for the author to tell us about, I would absolutely read it. For now, this was a fun and quick read while I took a break from longer works

The idea behind this story is intresting mixing Skyrim with Mistborn powers is a really cool concept. and is somewhat of a fun read. But the way the characters in Skyrim react to the protagonist’s abilities feels off. Skyrim is a world where magic and strange powers are pretty normal, but the reactions here seem like they belong in a low fantasy world where magic barely exists. Instead of the superstition, awe, or curiosity you’d expect from Skyrim’s characters, their responses feel out of place. The suspicion shown doesn’t feel like the typical superstition of the Nords it’s more like the kind of fear and disbelief you’d find in a world like Game of Thrones. It’s as if they barely even know magic or unusual abilities exist, which doesn’t fit the setting of Skyrim at all.
