Novel excells in nothing but promising, you want R? Bam, we will stretch aging to 1000+ pages, while telling you about all lewd boons they chose in char creater. You can literally skim through almost whole chap and you wont lose much. I rate It as a typical "please buy more chaps" webnovel trash. Read till ch.555 and there will be spoilers ahead u have been warned. What started out as a nice novel with a unique power system slowly became the same generic slop that is made fun of in novels where mc is the villain an says "typical heroic mc that charms all the heroines left and right with a powerful plot armor and bs powers and is a trouble magnet". I enjoyed the story at 1st but the moment the cult arc started (Juggler arc till nytharos fight) that's when the story stopped being enjoyable. The story talks about an mc with skills in runesmithing, so u expect him to use his skills to create weapons, and tools to help him fight. It starts that way but the moment the big shot villains start appearing that's when the author went the Ichigo route by changing the mc from a human to a witch then to basically the reincarnation of Darkness aka the og end game villain. Not to mention he stops relying on his runes and becomes a typical mage instead. I have soo much complaints that idk how to organize them. From the random iq drops to the fact that even tho he knows how to make 4th thread since like ch.200-300 yet doesn't upgrade his arsenal or the arsenal of the ppl he cares about (like what's the point of learning about it then), to the fact that he needed plot armor to save his stupid a*s twice, 1st time was during when he died in vermillion family attack, 2nd was when he stupidly decides to go 1v1 a god when he can barely defeat a handicapped cultist (the only reason he survived was bcz he got saved by another copy of that same god which was never explained where he came from or how he even exists rn). The pacing is horrendous, it's like that xianxia meme about the city before and after the mc arrives. It's like author wants to speedrun all the events bcz during approximately 9 months. School was attacked 3 times, a tournament was invaded once, the capital city was attacked once, the vermillion family was almost slaughtered, the mc got kidnapped, the mc fought a god, the mc made enemies with the most influential runesmith, a king and 1 or 2 mage towers, he saved an entire world from dying with a 2nd world is almost saved, he fought an apostle of a god, a cult was eradicated. See my point? too much was crammed back to back in order to not let mc grow too fast without danger bcz if not for all these things he would've already finished soo much on his never ending to do list. Lastly is the romance, honestly i wanna strangle the mc soo bad with how much of a scumbag he is. With Ariana it worked out well, with raven too since she has history with him, but with Elana, Annabelle, and Ruby it's just frustrating to read. He knows the 3 of them have feelings for him and he's accepting nor denying their feelings even when confronted about it by them. He just procrastinates the issue for no reason other than "im not sure how i feel about them and I'm only loyal to Ariana" (even tho he got the ok from ariana rly early in the story) yet he is ready to die for them and cares too much about them. Sometimes it feels like he is just taking advantage of their feelings (ruby and elana). All it took for him to finally grow some balls to accept their feelings is to he pushed into a corner by the gods (his semen is magical in nature and can prevent all women he slept with from being influenced by the gods), hurt their feelings (Anna and Ruby specifically), and 2 cups of Ale...
