visionaries mystics and contactees

His birth was a warning. His rise will be a reckoning. He was never meant to exist… yet his shadow will swallow the world. --------------------------- What if the universe chose you… when it shouldn’t have? On the morning of his fifteenth birthday, Xavier Xerxes wakes to find a glowing system screen floating before his eyes. That can only mean one thing—he’s a Mystic. One of the hundred chosen each year, blessed with the Celestial System and powers beyond imagination. But there’s a problem. The slots are already full. For the first time in a billion years, the system has made an impossible mistake: an extra Mystic exists. And it’s him—Xavier, the pale-skinned, pink-eyed outcast who can barely walk a mile without collapsing, hates violence, and would rather read poetry than swing a sword. Now forced into Celestial Academy where Mystics train to slay monsters, conquer dungeons, and face demons from realms unknown, Xavier must navigate a deadly world he is utterly unprepared for. His system mocks him with a fatality risk of 100000/10, and failure to complete even the simplest quest threatens him with self-destruction. He doesn’t want to fight. He doesn’t want to kill. He doesn’t even want to be a hero. But the universe—and something darker lurking in its shadows—has other plans. Mystics are born once a year. Xavier should never have been one. Which means his existence isn’t an accident… it’s a warning.
