Love both the concept the characters and the supporting cast. Only one point of criticism, the author did an actually wonderful job in make the mc and some of the support cast growth organically but both the avatar and co look more like straw man bidimensional and extremely foolish I won’t spoil anything because it’s a genuinely good writing but a good antagonist in my opinion is either someone so disgusting you want to see him die or someone gray and compelling wile the avatar is simply retarded forgive my language.

One of the most unique things about this novel is that the main cast are the villains. The world-building is huge, the characters have great chemistry, and Babylon already feels like a living empire instead of just a setting. If you’re into dark fantasy with action, politics, and morally gray characters, this is definitely worth checking out.
