**My Experience of Going Home Alone** Going home alone for the first time was an unforgettable and thrilling experience for me. After school, I found that no one came to pick me up as usual. So I decided to go home by myself. As I walked out of the school gate, I was a bit nervous. There were so many cars and people on the road. I had to be very careful when crossing the street. I waited patiently for the traffic lights to turn green and then quickly walked across the road. On the way, I passed by a small alley. Suddenly, a stray dog ran out. It stared at me with its big, fierce eyes. I was so scared that I didn't dare to move at first. But then I remembered that I should not show my fear. So I slowly backed away and then ran as fast as I could until I was sure the dog didn't follow me anymore. As I got closer to home, I felt a sense of relief. However, there was still a little difficulty. There was a big wild cat near my house. It seemed to be interested in me. I was afraid of cats, but this time I tried to be brave. I made some strange noises to scare it away. Finally, the cat left. When I finally reached home and opened the door, I was very proud of myself. This experience made me understand that when facing difficulties alone, we should keep calm, be brave and use our wisdom to solve problems. Read more exciting novels for free
