This was the story of a transmigrator named Mo Fei who had become a spy of the Don Quijote Family from the Pirate World. I read the MTLs to chapter 566, skimmed to chapter 744. (Chapter references will refer to MTL if there's differences) I'll be speaking mainly about the romantic elements of this story. - - - Decent slice-of-life, one of a kind actually. MC is just a kryptonian trying to live a low-key life in Marvel. - MC was single until c296: When the heroine, a young aspiring actress 'Charlize Theron' enters the scene — alright, not quite keen on the actress love interest though. Subsequent plotlines have MC supporting his girlfriend. - Until c552: When author 'reloads' the damn universe by having Sentry kill the heroine, MC going mad and destructive and sorcerer Tony Stark snaps his fingers to make "none of this happened, everything is normal." This resulted in 'Death' getting annoyed and maliciously 'setting everything to normal' by altering the heroine's life trajectory to that of our reality (the actress). So now MC wakes up and the past is just a dream, an alternate universe. The heroine here doesn't know MC. She's just the actress. So it's like MC never had a girlfriend to begin with. That's fine, I didn't mind if the author wanted to reverse his decisions this way. - Until c566: MC sleeps with a random russian Continental Hotel concierge. wtf? Not even a heroine, just a fling. - c739: MC sleeps with Kassandra (from Assassin's Creed). Couldn't consider it a heroine cause there's no love, just casual flings. And author's justification to this behaviour is: "MC feels a void left from his girlfriend" "MC feels alone in this universe" — Are you kidding? It was fine if MC wanted to reverse his decision of making Charlize Theron a heroine, but keeping her influence and using it to make MC have random flings? Not even a heroine? - - - That was the point I dropped this story. I used to like it because of the slice-of-life and unique features, but the romance disappointed me greatly. If you're someone who likes a slow-burn slice of life and don't mind romance as much as I do, then you might like this story. But for someone like me who puts great emphasis on romantic elements, then you'll probably drop it just like I have.
