Chapter 189 Review Pros: - 'Portals' in a modern cultivation world, with a video game-esque system for the MC. The world seems BIG, with enormous opportunity for exploration and discovery. Gives a feeling similar to 'Monster Paradise'. Combination sounds jumbled, but comes across as fresh. Even though 'Dimensional Zones' doesn't seem much different than 'Portals' of other novels, it adds a unique twist, that you'll understand after reading. - Doesn't feel 'episodic' and repetitive, like 'Library of Heaven's Path' can feel at times, (although it's only at 189 so far). - MC gives a bit of comedic edgy-ness, but it's not so much that it's unrelatable or disheartening. - Updates have been really steady. Cons: - You may not like it if you don't like Cultivation/Video-Game/System comedies. - Kind of heavy on the Tibetan Buddhist theme, creepy voices in the head, sleep paralysis. (Basically, don't do this kind of stuff IRL)
