Seriously writing this review just to tell you it is pronounced necronomicon it is also a book that most satanist all know about and is a very very dark book

I cringed so hard from reading the synopsis i think ive permanently injured something. i dare not read this i think its in the same league as the necronomicon it will corrupt your soul and summon monsters from the abyss. author i assume you are some form of chaos lord to write this please dont smite me for this jest.

This gets progressively more Dog-S the further it goes... He just rolls in blast everything and with zero struggle deals with everything. Literally just taking a P on the entire western horror media. Also MC is pretty much the generic Chinese protagonist. Meaning a sociopath who likes to pretend like hes a good person but when it actually comes down to it he will literally let people die just because he didn't trigger a mission from the system. One good example is when the Necronomicon is dealt with in 2 or 3 chapters like its some trivial joke. He knows something is wrong with the girl who looks for him for aid but because she didn't come to talk to him and thus trigger a mission he ignores it. And the outcome is the same as in the movie. Everyone dies and the girl is now an orphan. Almost right after he has to deal with a cursed mirror. Tells a woman who's entire family was butchered by it to get it for him, NOT bring it to him and when she does acquire it he goes to F around with some dollhouse. This all while fully aware it can kill within a day and she has no means of actually defending herself.

A wonderful novelization of my favorite version of «The Evil Dead», perfectly conveys the atmosphere of «Within the Woods». I am very, very sorry that the movie «Within the Woods» probably won't have a direct sequel with the last surviving Ellen (the actress is too old, unless the action takes place more than forty years later). I also love the «The Evil Dead» of 1981, but by the fact that the demons there are «imported», that is, accidentally brought by a professor from India (Candar, by the way, is real, existing since antiquity, but historically a little-known city in India), and the Necronomicon, with which it cannot be otherwise; they are in many ways inferior to «Within the Woods» in originality. Here the demons are ancestral, «their own»: both in the place where the action takes place; and in the country of production of the film. Also, in addition to Аmerindian spirits, which are rarely found in popular American horror films; «Within the Woods» also captivates with a vivid example of good friendships. Scotty showed himself at the beginning as not the smartest of the company; but even in agony he did everything to save his friends. When Ellen took him in fright for evil spirits and mortally wounded him; it is unlikely that he could not have realized at that moment that he had only a few minutes left to live. The first thing Scotty said after that fatal blow was that he had a gun in his bag in the basement and that Ellen should take it for self-defense. She's in shock: «I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kill you»; but Scotty to her only: «Take the gun!» and practically with these words dies in front of her, except for the moment when Ellen leaves for a weapon and, returning, discovers that in her absence, Scotty, already and without this dying, was finished off by someone. In general, Scotty is not thinking about the fact that he is dying; he is thinking about how to save his friends. I really want some kind of fan sequel with the surviving Ellen, for example, «Within the Woods 2» or at least just some other fanfiction based on the movie «Within the Woods». And I also ask the author's permission to translate his work and publish it on other sites.
