This is the First novel that I am reading that's looking interesting and also maybe I thought this novel had potential and wow😲 😲 look at that this is a first novel that covers Kathmandu from Nepal it's literally gonna be amazing .

Parts of this story are hilarious. There are some absurdist elements due to the nature of the main character's background. I didn't not expect to laugh as much as I did in couple of the chapters. I can't wait to read more in this story.

This story is gloriously unhinged in a way that feels intentional and thematically loaded. Beneath the crude humor and chaotic pacing lies a sharp meditation on alienation, humiliation, and escapist power fantasy. Nathanguu’s death-by-embarrassment operates as absurdist satire, while the Dragon Ball isekai arc cleverly deconstructs nostalgic hero worship and capitalist exploitation. The tonal oscillation between irony and sincerity mirrors such youthful detachment, yet the final descent into obsession reframes the narrative as a villain origin story. It’s messy but alive—raw, self-aware, and audacious. With refinement, this could evolve into a striking meta-commentary on masculinity, power, and digital-age escapism. I think this is my absolute favorite novel on this site so far. Each chapter is packed with fun twists and usually new comedy elements. It is mostly a comedy with several absurdist elements. It moves relatively fast and usually it only takes 3 or 4 chapters to give a sense of satisfaction (most other novels seem to need 7+ chapters to give me a a sense of any development). The author seems to have an abundance of ideas (or at least variations on a few ideas) and is not afraid to just get them out there instead of drawing each one out interminably. My thanks to both the author and the TL, and editor too I guess? This novel is a great pick-me-up and I totally get why it is ranked #1 - I want to give a power stone every couple of chapters due to the fast pace of enjoyable passages. It is also easy to read (aside from too often repeated phrases).

Hi there, I just came across "Future Pet Shop" and this had me laughing from the moment that sealed white box shows up on the doorstep. The premise sets up such a perfect comedic disaster, Shen Yibin, a wide-eyed new pet shop owner one day away from his grand opening, accidentally messaging the wrong supplier on WeChat and receiving not a batch of kittens but an actual live giant panda, unlocked cage and all, forcing him into a full-blown wrestling match with a Class I protected species in the middle of his own showroom. Watching his panic spiral from "I'm going to jail" to sheer bewilderment when the real "Future Pet Shop" casually reveals itself as a 22nd-century business run by someone from Doraemon's own era is such a perfect, escalating comedic hook. The dynamic between Shen Yibin and the panda he names Hah'Er is where the story really shines, a bear with the intelligence of a six-year-old who insists on washing its paws with three full pumps of soap and being fitted with a bib before eating, then pushes its own food toward Shen Yibin first out of pure unprompted politeness, turning what should be a farce about hiding a protected animal into something genuinely heartwarming. And the wonderfully mundane detail of Hah'Er's signature dish being twice-cooked pork instead of bamboo, justified only by "pandas are from Sichuan, isn't it normal," captures exactly the deadpan absurdist humor running through the whole premise. There's a lot I'd want to illustrate here: Shen Yibin locked in a full-body stalemate trying to shove the panda back into its cage, Hah'Er sitting properly at the coffee table in an oversized backwards apron waiting patiently for its ten containers of twice-cooked pork, or the tender, silly moment of Shen Yibin carefully washing the panda's paws in a basin decorated with, fittingly, a cartoon panda. I do manga style commission art, scene illustrations and character art, and stories with slice-of-life comedic chaos, absurdist magical-shop premises, and unexpectedly wholesome human-animal bonds are exactly the kind of stories I love bringing to life through illustration.
