What really bothers me is the 'romance' between the protagonist and Amy/Beth – it seems very forced, totally lacking in chemistry, basically due to the sheer number of opposites ('opposites attract') and the need to 'protect' their two fragile souls. ■ For me, Itachi is like: • The prince of darkness, the wanderer/guardian of shadows, the modern ninja, the cold guy, the silent assassin, the survivor, the determined one, etc. ■ For me, Amy/Beth are like: • The princesses of light, the hothouse flowers, the weak girls, the ones with little courage, the ones who constantly scream, the ones with little or no adaptability, the ones who need constant rescuing, etc. In my view, it only works if it follows the 'opposites attract' route – otherwise, i can easily see him entering into a relationship with Maggie/Alicia. The two are a great match for the modern ninja (my opinion). It's almost impossible that Maggie would want to go to the 'pharmacy' with Glenn when there's a modern ninja like Itachi, who came straight out of 2D, right in front of her.
