-WARNING - ADULT AND MATURED SCENES WERE DEPICTED IN THIS BOOK SO BE WARNED *Dual POV:* In their game of cards, love is not in the stack. RICHARD WELLINGTON I promised myself again, “never ever to give a girl or love such power and effect over me.” SOFIA BLAKE (REED) “Love is stupid. Love is for fools…” wiping the tears blurring my vision, I finished, "And indeed love will only hurt". RICHARD WELLINGTON Most men have male enemies, but I… I have a long queue of girls who will eagerly stab me for what I did to them. Truly, I hated seeing a grown-ass man reduced to a cry-baby, all for something as wack as love. And I know for damn sure that this will never ever be me any day, not in the future and most definitely not in another lifetime. SOFIA BLAKE (REED) Love ruined my life and it was still doing so. But as much as I dream about leaving this house, I would never do it if it involves love. RICHARD WELLINGTON I liked the fact that she understood what we had, or should I say what I kept her for. Many with a promising career like her would find it wrength to be in the service of a man. But I'm not any man, I am Richard fucking Wellington and it's an honor to be in my servitude. SOFIA BLAKE (REED) I hated doing this. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Waiting to be saved was something that happened in books and fairytales and my life was either. *RICHARD'S STORY* Born with a weak heart, billionaire Richard Wellington has always shielded himself from love, fearing the risk of heartbreak. But when his parents insist he chooses a wife from a selection of 15 high-society candidates, Richard must confront his deepest fears. *SOFIA BLAKE (REED)'S STORY* Fashion enthusiast Sofia Blake has been burned by love and believes it's a fool's game. Desperate to escape her cruel stepmother and evil stepsisters, Sofia accepts a job as Richard's personal assistant and judge for his wife search. But as she navigates the treacherous waters of high society, Sofia finds herself drawn to the one man she's supposed to resist. As Richard and Sofia work together, their initial disdain for each other slowly gives way to a forbidden attraction. But with their past heartaches and fears threatening to tear them apart, can they find a way to heal and open their hearts to each other? What happens when these two individuals who hate each other and are unreceptive to love, starts growing feelings for each other?

To me, the story strongly reminds me of Harry Potter—albeit for a slightly older audience and with a darker edge. Ludwig, the protagonist, loses both parents and dies himself, only to be reborn as a skeleton; he then trains under the most powerful dark mage and attends the Dark Tower Academy. There, he meets two friends, Kassandra and Hojo (essentially Ron and Hermione). The story chronicles the adventures the trio—but primarily Ludwig—experience there. As an Apostle of Deus Necros, his mission is to capture the seven Usurpers (representing the Seven Deadly Sins) and bring them back to Deus Necros. It is an enjoyable story in itself, though the author unfortunately squanders a lot of potential. For one thing, the supporting characters remain completely flat, serving only to make Ludwig stand out. For another, most interactions involve Ludwig and countless women—women who prove useless in dangerous situations. I was also bothered by the inconsistent descriptions of Ludwig: at times he has feelings, then he doesn't; there are countless reminders that he lacks a heart, muscles, eyes, and so on, yet the text repeatedly mentions things like "his breath catches," "his muscles burn," or "headaches." It just doesn't work; he is undead, and it would have been enough to establish that fact once at the beginning rather than constantly bringing it up again and again. Finally, things go a bit too smoothly for Ludwig. Whenever he desperately needs something, he manages to get it somehow, turning what should be dangerous situations into easy ones. Still, since I really liked the Harry Potter books (except for the fifth one), I find this series quite alright, too.

Since I don't know the details of this 'full officer Ludwig story', it might be about his heroic deeds in the military. Maybe he led his troops to victory in a difficult battle, showed great leadership, and was respected by his comrades. But again, this is just speculation without more information.

King Ludwig's castle, Neuschwanstein, is truly a fairy - tale like structure. It was built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria. He was a rather eccentric king with a great love for the arts and architecture. He wanted to create a grand and beautiful castle that was inspired by the operas of Richard Wagner. The castle stands majestically in the Bavarian Alps. It has high towers, beautiful arches, and elaborate interiors filled with paintings and sculptures. It has become one of the most famous castles in the world and a major tourist attraction today.

It's hard to say exactly. It could be that Ludwig is a character in the Kakumei manga, or perhaps there's some thematic overlap. But without more context, it's difficult to determine a clear link.
