I know the other reviews said this was a slow burn but jesus. This story up to chapter 15 is the definition of shit or get off the pot. How do you pick Slade Wilson and then put a character who is so passive it almost hurts. I didn't mind at the start because he seemed to want a normal childhood but my guy need to get his shit together.

I gave it five stars, because why not? The story is interesting, the characters are strong (but not overly so), and I also like characters who don't hesitate to kill when necessary (the MC reminds me of Deathstroke or Taskmaster).
