I've read around 1000 chaps and I'm gonna drop it for multiple reasons. At first MC makes a lot of stupid decisions and voila, it was all because of the brain tumor. Then MC is portrayed as genius manupilator but whenever he talks with high level cultivators he has no idea what is actually going on and what other s are actually deducting from the conversation. Like when he talks with Jotun or Rocketfellow. But voila, everything miraculously works out in MCs favour and makes him seem mysterious. Also most of the people here are extremely incompetent. Like Mary who is literally useless and can't do anything right. Fernanda who had just ONE job to look after earth, but she has no idea what's going on there, then she suddenly quits the job and is nowhere to be seen. The system is also incompetent. It is so damaged and can't work properly then instead of giving starter quests and properly developing the Inn, slowly making the host stronger, it brings the strongest being on earth as the first quest. Almost all of the quest rewards are useless. Why not give more security instead of a Patisserie? And why the hell did you make a new realm if you can't control any of it. The most annoying thing is MCs habit of being AFK, he's always stuck somewhere, in a coma or temporary unavailable whenever there's an attack on the Inn. He always becomes exhausted, weak with a terrible headache every now and then. And now he's literally a BABY in suit and just won't grow up.

Hi, it's been a while. I want to be honest about a few things. This story is something I truly love working on—it brings me so much happiness and gratitude. Seeing people read it and knowing that my efforts are being recognized means the world to me. I feel like I owe you all so much, and I sincerely thank you. More than anything, I want to become a better writer. I always think about doing a thorough revision to fix the issues, but I often get stuck in the feeling that I'm not good enough at it (even though I love what I write). It's difficult to fully express everything I want to say through translation. I want my words to make you float, to fill you with creativity and endless love. I've never given up, and I'm still here. Lately, I’ve noticed a growing trend of authors using artificial intelligence. Honestly, I don’t think that’s fitting for someone who calls themselves an author. I don’t do that, and maybe the biggest proof of it is that I’ve never actually finished my stories—there’s no machine behind them, just an imperfect person. For my own well-being, I’ve had to create some distance between myself, my readers, and my writing. I need to stay healthy for the day when my journey continues beyond this story. But I want you to know that I love you, and I love this story. I hope to finish everything in 2025. Let’s do this together.

Yes, I’m that guy. I’m rating my own web novel a 5! I decided to do this to make sure new readers have enough info on my first ever web novel (and not my last! More info on that later in the review!) “What is this story about?” Police officer Marco De Luca’s shattered dreams were only mended by his wife, Fara. One day a Man in A Yellow Suit breaks into their house and murders her. Unexpected events lead him to share his body with the mind and consciousness of the world’s greatest detective Baronne Fenzi. “Does it have romance?” Not much after the beginning of the story. “Release schedule” Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday 6PM GMT. This story is not a long one, I haven’t decided how many chapters it will take, but it won’t be a long-running serial. (For the reason, read below) “Why is the story fast paced?” For this story, I decided to challenge myself to write as best and fast as I can without a backlog to get better at serializing. I’ve allowed myself only a single revision per chapter or else I’d be too much of a perfectionist to release on time. Why am I releasing this story? (If you don’t care skip to the 🔴) The Gemini Detective idea is one I had a long time ago. Inspired by some of my favorite detective stories, I decided I’d like to create a unique twist to the murder mystery formula and I thought two people in one body, a genius detective who is arrogant and a simple timid police officer who was determined to get justice for his wife. That contrast between dual protagonists having to share one body seemed interesting to write. And this idea has been sitting there in the back burner because most of my time for the past year has been spent researching my other story, I dare say my magnum opus, my epic fantasy story. (Which will remain unnamed…for now) My epic fantasy takes so much effort and time into every little detail to ensure I’m not making mistakes and my story and world are as deep as I want them to be. The world is so vast, there’s many factions, hundreds of characters, a ton of converging and overlapping plot lines, etc. And it was burning me out a little. So, I decided I’m gonna write and serialize TGD and might as well get some reps in before my grand epic fantasy.
