What I Loved: The 'found family' vibes at the Jardin Paisible mansion are so heartwarming. There’s something so comforting about the Bennet siblings—especially Johan—creating a 'heaven on earth' for orphans while the world outside is literally falling apart. I found myself really rooting for Anni; her story is heartbreakingly real, and the way the author handles her struggle against the corrupt Mayor made me want to jump into the book and protect her myself.
