'Wild Child' was a 2024 drama directed by Yin Ruoxin, with Wang Junkai, Guan Zixie, Deng Jiajia, Chen Yongsheng, Pan Binlong, and the others as the main actors. The film was based on the real story of the "Wandering Brothers" and focused on the "children in social difficulties" group. It told the story of the "thief" brother and the "orphan" brother's wandering journey, as well as a warm story of protection and redemption. Among them, Xuan Xuan's father was in prison and his mother left. Only his seriously ill grandmother and his alcoholic grandfather who collected waste for a living were left. Xuan Xuan was often beaten after starving. Ma Liang did not have an ID card and relied on smuggling cigarettes to make money. He pitied Xuan Xuan's fate and the two had a bond. Ma Liang wanted to start over but gave up because he was worried about Xuan Xuan. In order to support Xuan Xuan and meet his growth needs, he developed from small smuggling to submitting to Uncle Wen's gang crime. In addition, there were also juvenile delinquents like Da Mao who had been neglected by their families since they were young. Even if they were seriously ill, they did not want their parents to know the bad things they had done before they died. They were all children who had been abandoned or neglected by their original families. The film was released on July 4 and July 10, but was withdrawn on July 3 due to late progress.
