The Bullied Husband's Club
In a tale woven by chance and fate, three lives collide in a whirlwind of danger, ambition, and unexpected love. Kenzo and Maverick, two men bound by a shared past of running from assassins since childhood, have spent their lives in the shadows, working multiple jobs just to scrape by. Meanwhile, Caleb, the self-made millionaire and childhood friend, has built an empire from the ground up, living a life of luxury but haunted by the secrets of their shared history.
Everything changes one fateful night when Victoria Parson, the fiery and independent granddaughter of the Baroness of Berkon, crosses paths with Kenzo in a dimly lit bar. Fresh from the devastating betrayal of witnessing her fiancé’s affair with her own sister, Stacey, Victoria is determined to reclaim her life. With the help of her loyal best friend, she gathers proof of the betrayal, only to be met with indifference from her family, who seem more concerned with maintaining appearances than justice.
Fueled by anger, heartbreak, and a few too many drinks, Victoria makes an impulsive decision that shocks everyone: she marries Kenzo, the mysterious and rugged stranger she’s inexplicably drawn to, despite his apparent lack of wealth or status. To her, he represents freedom from the gilded cage of her aristocratic life—a life she no longer wants.
But Kenzo and Maverick are far from ordinary. As their past begins to unravel, it becomes clear that they are more than just broke drifters. Hidden beneath their rough exteriors lies a legacy of power, secrets, and a destiny that ties them to a world far beyond the reach of the middle class or even the nobility. As Victoria is drawn deeper into their world, she discovers that Kenzo’s life is far more dangerous—and extraordinary—than she ever imagined.
Together, the trio must navigate a treacherous path filled with assassins, family betrayals, and the weight of their intertwined fates. As love blossoms amidst the chaos, they must confront their pasts and fight for a future where they can finally break free from the shadows that have haunted them for so long. But in a world where nothing is as it seems, can they trust each other enough to survive? Or will the secrets they carry tear them apart?
From rags to riches, from danger to destiny, this is a story of love, loyalty, and the power of rewriting your own fate.
