Some Soyuz spaceships had already landed. For example, on March 30,2022, the Soyuz Ms - 19 spacecraft carrying two Russian astronauts and one American astronaut returned to Earth from the International Space Station and landed. On September 27,2024, the Soyuz Ms - 23 spacecraft landed on Earth after about three and a half hours after leaving the International Space Station with three astronauts. SpaceX's starship successfully landed after its fifth test flight on October 14, 2024. There were many highlights of the test flight. For example, the launch tower arm system (the "chopsticks" connected to the rocket, which was two 60-meter-long robotic arms) accurately caught the super heavy thruster during the landing phase. This achievement explored a new path for future recycling and reuse. In addition, the recently released official video of the starship's propeller landing showed that when it was about one kilometer from the sea, the propeller's grid fins began to adjust, the engine ignited, decelerated rapidly, and spewed out conical clouds. Although there was a fire, it finally successfully adjusted to a vertical state and fell into the Gulf of Mexico. These successful landings demonstrated SpaceX's progress in space exploration technology. The novel "Hundred Years of Spaceship" is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to click and read it!

Shenzhou 18 successfully landed at the Dongfeng landing site at 01:24 on November 4,2024. The on-site medical staff confirmed that the astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Cong, and Li Guangsu were in good health. The Shenzhou 18 manned flight mission was a complete success. Shenzhou 18 used the " parachute + solid fuel reverse thrust engine " method to land. When it was about one meter above the ground, the ignition of the solid fuel reverse thrust engine would produce a large amount of gas and smoke. At the same time, because the landing site was in the Inner Mongolia grassland area, the ground dust would be raised by the airflow generated by the parachute and the reverse thrust engine, causing thick smoke to billow during the landing. This landing method ensured that the spacecraft could land safely on the ground and ensure the safety of the astronauts. The novel " Flood Dragon " is equally exciting.
