In 'Battle Through the Heavens', Yun Yun's actions were considered as' backstabbing 'Xiao Yan. In the trailer of the Three Year Agreement, there was a scene of Yun Yun pulling out her sword and stabbing Xiao Yan from the back. This could be explained as the Misty Cloud Sect's leader had acted to stop Xiao Yan in a moment of desperation. However, when Xiao Yan had fled after an intense battle with Yun Shan after he had entered the Misty Cloud Sect, Yun Yun's actions were more in line with the saying of 'backstabbing.' Xiao Yan relied on the aura of the Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python to avoid the Magical Beasts in the mountain. Yao Lao's help in hiding his aura made it very difficult for the Misty Cloud Sect's people to find him. Xiao Yan only needed to slowly explore and he would be able to escape. However, Yun Shan's Dou Qi remained on Xiao Yan's body after his battle with Yun Shan. As a Dou Huang, Yun Yun was able to discover that Xiao Yan's life and death depended on a thought from Yun Yun. As Xiao Yan was Yun Yun's little lover, Yun Yun could originally let Xiao Yan off out of her own selfish motives. Even if she pointed in the wrong direction and caused everyone from the Misty Cloud Sect to miss Xiao Yan, it was still fine. However, Yun Yun still pointed in the direction where Xiao Yan was under the pressure of many Elders, causing Xiao Yan to have to face the Misty Cloud Sect's Elder Dou Wang. Xiao Yan had just experienced a great battle and had exhausted too much of his Dou Qi and Mental Energy. At that time, it was difficult for him to withstand the joint attack of Elder Dou Wang. Fortunately, Hai Bo Dong came to help. Hai Bo Dong held back Dou Wang and Ya Fei provided him with a map. Only then was Xiao Yan able to escape. Although Xiao Yan would definitely take revenge for any flaws, he did not bear a grudge against Yun Yun because of this. After going to the Misty Cloud Sect three times, Xiao Yan did not pursue the Misty Cloud Sect's attack on the Xiao clan and the Primer clan, as well as their pursuit of him and other grudges on account of Yun Yun. After the Misty Cloud Sect was disbanded, Xiao Yan still stayed at the Misty Cloud Sect for three days to bid farewell to Yun Yun. It could be seen how much Xiao Yan cared about Yun Yun. For example, when Xiao Yan brought Medusa to the Misty Cloud Sect, Yun Yun looked at Medusa by Xiao Yan's side. Her face was shy and helpless. At the same time, she could only silently endure her jealousy because of Medusa's existence. Moreover, after Xiao Yan and Medusa had many interactions, jealousy would also rise in Yun Yun's heart.
