The big geese in the kindergarten go on a tripThe following is a lesson plan for a kindergarten class:
** 1. Teaching objectives **
1. Let the children understand the basic knowledge of wild goose travel.
2. To develop the child's observation and language skills.
3. Cultivate children's spirit of cooperation and team awareness.
** 2. Teaching preparation **
1. PowerPoint or picture materials, including the scene of wild geese traveling (migration), the shape of wild geese, etc.
2. a classroom or outdoor space that can accommodate children.
3. Handmade materials, such as colored paper, scissors, glue, etc.
** 3. Teaching process **
#(I) Introduction
1. The teacher introduced the topic by showing pictures of geese or playing a Short videos of geese migrating. Ask the children,"Children, what do you see in the picture/video?" Guide the child to answer the wild goose.
2. Then the teacher asked,"Do you know where the wild goose is going?" Why are they flying in groups like this?" Arouse children's curiosity and desire to explore.
#(2) Knowledge Explanation
1. Use the PowerPoint to show the route map of the wild goose migration and explain the basic knowledge of the wild goose migration to the children. For example, the wild goose will fly from the north to the warm place in the south every year before the cold season, and then fly back to the north when spring comes.
2. During the explanation, ask the children at the right time, such as "Children, what difficulties do you think the geese will encounter on the journey?" Children were encouraged to think positively and speak boldly, training their imagination and language skills.
#(3) Practice
1. ** Making wild geese **
- The teacher distributed handmade materials to the children and demonstrated how to use colored paper to make wild geese. For example, first cut out the body shape of the wild goose, then cut out the wings and other parts, and then glue them together.
- Let the children make wild geese by themselves. During the production process, the teacher will guide them on a tour to encourage the children to show their creativity and make wild geese of different shapes.
2. ** Simulate wild goose travel **
- Lead the children outdoors or in a relatively empty place in the classroom. Let the children hold the geese they made and simulate the scene of the geese traveling (migration).
- Guide the children to discuss the formation of the geese during the trip, such as,"Children, geese fly in a line or a herringbone. Let's fly in a line like the geese." Let the children arrange themselves in groups to experience the teamwork spirit of the wild geese.
#(4) Game segment
1. ** Geese relay race **
- The children were divided into several groups, and each group of children stood in a row.
- The teacher placed some small items (such as small leaves) at one end of the field, representing the "food" or "rest point" of the geese on their journey.
- The first child in each group set off with the goose model, ran to the place where the items were placed, picked up an item, and returned. He handed the goose model and the item to the next child. The group that completed it first won. This game could cultivate the children's sense of teamwork and competition.
2. ** Wild geese looking for home **
- In one corner of the classroom, he set up a "Southern Home", and in the other corner, he set up a "Northern Home".
- When the teacher said,"When winter comes, the wild goose will fly to the southern home" or "When spring comes, the wild goose will fly back to the northern home", the child took his own wild goose model and ran to the corresponding "home" according to the instructions. Through this game, the children could deepen their understanding of the destination of the wild goose migration.
#(V)
1. The teacher guided the children to review the entire activity process and asked,"Children, today we traveled with the wild geese. What did you learn?"
2. Let the children summarize the basic knowledge of wild goose travel (migration), such as where the wild goose travels, why it travels, and the formation during the journey.
3. Children were encouraged to share their feelings in the activity, such as the fun of making wild geese, the mood of participating in the game, etc. At the same time, they were also praised and affirmed for their performance in the activity to enhance their self-confidence.
#(6) Extension Activity
1. Let the children go home and draw a picture of wild geese traveling with their parents.
2. Teachers could add some books about wild geese or other animal travel (migration) in the corner of the class for children to read on their own to further deepen their understanding of the phenomenon of animal travel.

Why not go on a trip next week? There could be several reasons for not going on a trip next week.
**I. Family Reasons**
1. **Family Event**
- There might be an important family gathering, such as a family reunion or a celebration like a relative's birthday or anniversary. For example, if there is a family member's 50th wedding anniversary next week, everyone in the family is expected to be present to celebrate this milestone event together.
2. **Family Member's Health**
- If a family member is ill, it would be necessary to stay at home to take care of them. Suppose a grandparent has fallen ill suddenly and requires constant care and supervision, then going on a trip next week would not be possible.
**II. Work or School - related Reasons**
1. **Workload**
- There could be a heavy workload at work. Maybe there are important projects that need to be completed by the end of next week. For instance, if a person is working on a crucial business deal and there are a lot of reports to prepare, presentations to make, and negotiations to carry out, they cannot afford to be away on a trip.
2. **School Exams or Assignments**
- For students, there might be upcoming exams or a large number of assignments due next week. If a student has several final exams or a major research paper to submit, they have to stay and study instead of going on a trip.
**III. Financial Reasons**
1. **Unexpected Expenses**
- There may have been some unexpected financial outflows recently. For example, if there was a car repair or a home appliance replacement that cost a significant amount of money, there might not be enough funds left for a trip next week.
2. **Budget Constraints**
- Even if there were no unexpected expenses, the budget might simply not allow for a trip at the moment. Maybe the person has been saving up for other long - term goals like buying a house or further education, and a trip next week would disrupt their financial plan.
**IV. Other Reasons**
1. **Weather Forecast**
- The weather forecast for the destination might be unfavorable next week. If the place is expected to have heavy rain, strong winds or even a typhoon, it would not be a good time to visit, and thus the trip is cancelled.
2. **Lack of Preparation**
- There might not have been enough time to plan and prepare for the trip. This includes not having made travel arrangements such as booking flights, hotels or arranging transportation at the destination. Without these preparations, it is not practical to go on a trip next week.

In modern society, the situation of non - school students regarding traveling is a topic worthy of discussion.

On one hand, traveling can bring a lot of benefits to non - school students. They can expand their horizons through traveling. When they visit different places, they can experience various cultures, see different sceneries, and meet people from all walks of life. For example, if they go to Paris, they can admire the Eiffel Tower, visit world - famous art galleries, and taste French cuisine. This exposure to new things can greatly enrich their knowledge and understanding of the world.
Moreover, traveling can also be a form of relaxation for non - school students. In daily life, they may face various pressures, such as job - hunting pressure or family - related stress. Traveling allows them to get away from these daily troubles, enjoy the beauty of nature or the charm of a foreign city, and relieve their stress.
On the other hand, there are also some factors that need to be considered. Financially, traveling usually requires a certain amount of cost, including transportation, accommodation, and food expenses. Non - school students need to ensure that they have sufficient financial resources to support their trips. If they do not plan well financially, they may encounter difficulties during the journey.
In addition, safety is also a very important issue. Whether traveling alone or with others, non - school students need to pay attention to safety precautions. In some unfamiliar places, they may face risks such as getting lost, encountering bad people, or experiencing natural disasters.
In conclusion, non - school students can go traveling. However, they need to make full preparations in terms of finance, safety, and itinerary planning to ensure that they can have a pleasant and fulfilling travel experience.
