The Portrait of Dorian GrayThe Picture of Dorian Gray had many artistic forms.
From a literary point of view, it was Oscar Wilde's only novel. The protagonist of the novel, Dorian Gray, was a young and handsome noble boy. After seeing the beautiful portrait of himself and meeting Lord Henry Forton, he was influenced by the Lord's philosophy of life. His desire to stay young forever and let the portrait bear the traces of time was miraculously realized. Since then, he had fallen, and every evil deed would make the portrait ugly and ferocious, but his appearance was always young. He was cruel to relationships. After the actress Sibel Vynn disappointed him, he treated her roughly. Sibel committed suicide in despair. He indulged in sensual pleasures, taking drugs, drinking alcohol, visiting prostitutes, and even killing people. He killed Basil, the painter, who tried to dissuade him. In the end, when he wanted to destroy the portrait that recorded his sins, he accidentally stabbed himself and died. This novel was a masterpiece of the late 19th century's aestheticism and the trend of " art for art's sake ". The writing style was beautiful, the metaphor was exquisite, and it was full of thoughts about art and life. The idea was novel and magical.
In terms of musical, it was directed by Zhou Ke, Jin Wenyan, Jason Howland, Sun Yuzhuo and dance director Shen Shanhao.

The Immortal Dorian GrayIn the movie League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, an immortal version of Dorian Gray (Dorian Gray) appeared. The comic version of Dorian Gray was greatly exaggerated as immortal and astonishingly old. This setting consolidated the entertainment of the fictional character and brought about curious chemistry. In the 2009 movie Dorian Gray, he also showed his immortality. However, the magical description of his immortality was not deep enough. Other than the automatic recovery of the wound caused by the glass on his arm, there was no more description in the film. In the original novel, Dorian Gray exchanged his looks with the portrait, but the changes in his inner world would be reflected in the portrait.

The portrait of Dorian GrayThe Portrait of Dorian Gray revolved around Dorian Gray, a young noble who grew up in London. He was extremely handsome and kind. The painter Holward used him as a model to create a portrait. When he saw how beautiful he was in the portrait, under the influence of Lord Henry, he made a wish to the portrait, hoping that he would stay young forever, and that the vicissitudes of time and his sins would be borne by the portrait.
Dorian Gray fell in love with the actress Sybill, but when Sybill's performance was overshadowed by love, he abandoned her in anger. After Sybill's suicide, Dorian in the portrait began to undergo an evil transformation. His portrait became uglier and uglier with the ugliness of his heart and the depravity of his behavior, but he still maintained his youthful appearance.
This story embodied many aspects. From an aesthetic point of view, Dorian Gray's beautiful face interpreted aesthetics, and the development of the story showed his self-destruction and the change in his relationship with the portrait. At the same time, it also reflected the situation of the British upper-class aristocratic society. Through the strong contrast between the protagonist's beautiful appearance and the ugly heart, it revealed the phenomenon of false evil and ugliness in the aristocratic life, expressing the author's praise of the true, the good and the beautiful, and the whip of false evil and ugliness.
