I'm not entirely sure if 'The Closest Ones' on Tubi is a true story. You might need to look for official statements from the creators or do some more in - depth research on movie review websites.

Near-death experiences might occur when one was closest to death. Near-death experiences referred to the subjective experience of death described by people who suffered from serious trauma or illness but unexpectedly recovered, as well as people who had a premonition of impending death in a potentially devastating situation but narrowly escaped death. Different people had different near-death experiences. For example, in some cases, when the person was about to die, he felt completely separated from his body. Something greeted him. He saw an existence that he had never seen before but seemed to be very important in his life story. He was also told the fate of his loved ones. He felt a great sense of warmth. He was surrounded by flowers, fragrances, and colorful scenes. The feeling of time and space was different from usual. He saw the dangerous situation that his body was in, such as seeing himself submerged in water, his companions 'rescue actions, etc., but he did not want to return to his body. In the end, he was told by the surrounding existences that it was not time to return to his body and woke up. There were also some people who felt like they were trapped in a dark place during their near-death experience. There were things like tree roots and blood vessels around their bodies. Animals passed through their bodies, and they saw white light and heard pleasant sounds. Then they entered a whole new world and saw grasslands, adults and children playing, and so on.

Since we're not certain if 'The Closest Ones' on Tubi is a true story, we can't really delve into specific details about it being based on real events. However, if it were a true story, it might involve real people's experiences, real locations, and real - life situations that were dramatized for the screen. But again, this is all speculation until we know for sure.

There was a novel called " Forbidden Death Zone " that mentioned the Forbidden Death Zone, claiming that it was the closest place to hell. This was an incredible story that the author had personally experienced, including the Golden Pagoda Labyrinth, the Mass Grave, and other plots. There was also a folk novel that mentioned an abandoned golden house that was filled with death curses. It could also be considered a place closer to death.
