Let Me Game in Peace
1 drop of blood = 1-Up
Other people game overnight, I game overnight and bleed.
Ever since the dimensional storms descended upon Earth, numerous dimensional zones have appeared, bringing with them all kinds of dimensional creatures—Immortals, Buddhas, Devils, Angels, Elves, etc.
Yet, all these strange dimensional zones can turn into dungeon instances on my phone. Other people risk their lives adventuring, I spend all my time gaming.
Monsters drop dimensional crystals that boost stats, imbue new skills, and join me as Companion Beasts. These Companion Beasts fight alongside me or alone, augmenting me with their skills and strength. Rare monsters in real life? I'll just restart the game with a drop of blood to grind it.
I really need a blood transfusion.

I love the concept. Dexter self insert with a system that focuses on relationships? Perfect! Except the writing quality is far too lacking to carry such an idea. MC is dumb as a brick, timeline was messed with to... I dunno, maybe because author wanted to write about their favorite season? And the writing is so AI that it is still dripping oil. MC kills Boyd(the animal exterminator who kidnapped Lumen) after seeing he had captured Lumen(actually Boyd only disposes of the bodies, he does not capture them, maybe author wanted Lumen untouched?), despite the event happening 4 years or so later in the canon(and Lumen being out of Miami at this point in the timeline), and shows his face to Lumen(this is a Lumen that did not get traumatized by the Barrel Killers, thus should turn on Dexter due to being a normal person/not having her dark passenger- and because she did not see him as an angel that came to save her from her hell). Also the whole Lumen thing in the canon happened because Dexter was in a bad place, Rita had died, and Lumen was broken, together they healed each other. Anyway, after MC showed his face to Lumen what does he do? He takes her to his home. Where Debra is... Thinking Deb wouldn't notice the obvious signs of abuse she suffered(as a vice worker she WOULD), and... Let me repeat. MC took someone who saw his killing home without thinking twice, where his sister that worked with prostitutes and traumatized people was, someone he saw for the first time. Someone, unlike in the original, did not get traumatized enough to clutch onto him for safety and not tell his killing to the police... This is too dumb for me to read on, at least without it having 30-40 more chapters so I can read while turning off my brain.
